Our school disrict just approved Read Well for our reading program next year. I really don’t know anything about it and was wondering if any of you have or are currently using this program. What are your reviews about this program? We are only getting it for K-2. I teach

Ms. Kristy’s class has been having a blast with math all week using edible manipulatives. Each student made their own little addition booklet then practiced estimation with guess and check marshmallow fun- they even used colored/flavored mini marshmallows to practice with bar graphing and tally graphs- the students just loved the all week mini

The Cat in the Hat and the Lorax too make for a great bulletin board just for you!!  Ms. Misty made this  tissue paper bulletin board of the Lorax and the Cat in the Hat for Read Across America- Everyone have fun READING!!!!

Ms. Kristy’s class decorated their Valentine Tree for the classroom and did a valentine graphing project of colored hearts.

.     Ms. Misty’s Class learned about facts about a snowman this week- Did you know that a snowman is 80% air and just 20% water?  The students listed their favorite facts we discussed under a snowman they each made from recycled egg cartons. It was Snow much fun!!!

  We are learning about penguins in Ms. Kristy’s class. The kids are having the best time.  Ms. Kristy made the penguin for the bulletin board from black, white and orange tissue paper. The class  wrote the things they already knew about penguins on one side and then add the things they learned through
