Well January has just flown by. This weekend I’ve been trying to get a head start on my holiday week coming up in my classroom- Valentines. Can’t wait, this is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my kiddos. There is just so many cute ideas out there. I wanted to share one that I do every year with my firsties. Sweetheart Candy Graphing. We love doing this project in our room. I love doing this one the day before or the morning of our party that afternoon.

I buy each child a box of sweethearts to use with their graphing. They are cheap and easy for them to handle. They have a ball with this one and I hope your kiddos will love it too.

Here is another cute idea that I got off of Pinterest. I like this, simple cute, easy and the best thing CHEAP!!! You can’t beat that. I’ll put this on my list to do as well.
This will really show their creativity.

February Positive Behavior NotesPicture12 Teaching Times 2

As a teacher, nothing brings me more joy than recognizing students who go above and beyond in their behavior or classwork. That’s why I always have a stack of positive behavior notes on my desk, ready to be given to those deserving students. And to sweeten the deal, I attach a piece of candy to the note, making it a delightful treat for them to share with their families at home. Not only is this a quick and easy way to foster a positive relationship between school and home, but it also serves as a small token of appreciation for their exceptional behavior and hard work.
