We did this tissue paper penguin bulletin board to go along with our thematic unit about Winter and the Artic. The kids loved seeing what we knew about penguins before  the unit and then we discussed what we learned after the unit. SNOW much fun!!

Snow- What Do We Know?

Bulletin Board Winter Ideas

This is a throwback picture I found of a bulletin board I did over 10 years ago duing our Winter Thematic unit. The snowmen are made from white foam egg cartons that I cut out and tied pipe cleaners for a scarf and another I poked through for arms. My firsties drew the setting behind the snowman and they wrote on their paper what they had learned about snow  that week.

This festive snowman is made from white tissue paper, and circles that we freehanded and cut out and glued glitter onto. The hat we cut out from bulletin board paper and the stripe across  the hat was red paper then glued red glitter.
